It's All in the Details: New Trend for Senior Photos

Details have always been important to capture on a wedding day, but the new trend is to make detail photos for seniors.

In the last year I've noticed that more and more High School Seniors are requesting some detail shots that show off their personality and interests.

Lets take a look at some of my favorites and chat about them!

Cap + Gown

Elevate a Cap + Gown session by grabbing some details. I love the composition of this photo. The texture of the dress really allows for the blues to pop.

Personal Touch

This client asked if they could bring their Bible! I said of course!! We really enjoyed using it as a prop for portraits.

Mix + Match

This Senior came to stunt with the accessories! Love the mix and match of the heels and the volleyball!

School Pride

Show off your school pride!! I love using a letterman jacket in portraits. Seniors work so hard for their jacket and patches let's show it off!

Get Creative

As you can see I love to showcase those shoes! I love the reflection of the sunset and the boots over the water.

The More the Merrier

I love adding in animals to your Senior Portraits! So much fun! While this Senior was looking after her horse I got a quick shot of their feet together.

I had the pose on the left set up and then I realized that there was a great detail already made! Don't be afraid to look closer!

This Senior was so excited about her boots! How could you not be! I love that red! Take the things your senior is excited about and focus on them! I promise they will love the results!
